More to the point, adding DRM to songs <a title=\"Techdirt: Copy Protection Killing The Promotional Value Of Content\" href=\"http:\/\/www.techdirt.com\/article.php?sid=20060816\/1953202\">makes content less useful<\/a>, doesn&#039;t really stop piracy and just ends up pissing off the customers.<br \/>\nLast week we saw Weird Al <a title=\"kera.name Articles \u00c2\u00bb Another Artist With The Right Idea\" href=\"https:\/\/kera.name\/articles\/2006\/10\/another-artist-with-the-right-idea\/\">mention<\/a> that he realises this. Now a small-town radio station has <a title=\"Techdirt: Shocker: Radio Station That Gives Listeners What They Want Grows Its Audience\" href=\"http:\/\/techdirt.com\/articles\/20061031\/084653.shtml\">announced its success<\/a> at branching out onto the internet.
