Do you enjoy friendly competition? Do you play sport but don't have the time or commitment to play for a uni team, or play a sport not included in the Intramural system...? If you answered yes to ANY of the above, Newark and Southwell Sports Secs may have an opportunity you might be interested in...
THE JUBILEE CUP
...organised exclusively for Jubilee residents, The Jubilee Cup is to be an annual tournament between Newark and Southwell comprising of a variety of sports matches between residents of each hall. The competition will run throughout the year with teams and individuals battling it out for Jubilee glory. The tournament will culminate with the offical awarding of the Jubilee Cup to the winning hall at the end of the year.
The tournament is kicking off with its first match, Jubilee Cup football, in the next few weeks....the date is to be confirmed this week so keep your eyes peeled for the sign-up sheets which will be appearing on your notice boards shortly...

If you are interested in competing in an event not already listed, contact your Sports Sec and we'll try our best to accommodate you. All events are subject to sufficient involvement.
Once the official schedule of events is confirmed, we'll send you further notice of the match dates; in the meantime keep a look out for sign ups on your noticeboards and websites. Participation may be subject to a small entrance charge.
