Edinburgh and "El Mundo"

The NESS committee would like to welcome our new members to the UK and Nottingham! We are sure that you will have a wonderful time here, experiencing British culture and nightlife firsthand and accumulating lots of interesting stories for your family and friends back home!

For our returning members, we would like to wish you a happy new year and welcome back to University.

We have lined up an exciting itinerary for those of you who like to travel, those who like to party, and those who like to do both!

Our first trip this semester will be to the city of Edinburgh in Scotland. This has always been a very successful trip in past years and this time we anticipate nothing less! With its history, its charm and its boutiques Edinburgh can charm even the most doubting. It certainly won us over!

Our Edinburgh trip will take place on the weekend of 16th/17th February. We'll take a coach up to Scotland, settle in our hostel then set off to explore this beautiful Scottish capital.

Tickets cost £30, which includes transport and accommodation. We will leave from the Portland building on the 15th February at 11pm, and leave Edinburgh on the 17th February at 5pm. We will be staying at the Globetrotters hostel.

for a chance to purchase not only one of the 150 tickets being sold for the Edinburgh trip, but also for the upcoming "El Mundo" party at Halo.

This is a huge event which is being revisited after massive success last semester, involving no fewer than TWELVE of the University's largest international societies.

"El Mundo" will feature a selection of international music, including Salsa and Latin, RnB and HipHop, Greek, Arabic, Spanish, Turkish and some RnB.

There will be a salsa performance, street dancers and more! Tickets to this event cost £4 for members only.

So remember, come along to MOOCH on Tuesday from 6.30 for your chance to take part in an unforgettable trip to Edinburgh and an amazing "El Mundo" event.
